Texas CattleWomen Fall Convention 2026

The CattleWomen are coming back to Abilene! Big Country CattleWomen is proud to host the 2026 Texas CattleWomen Fall Convention and welcome chapters from across the state for a weekend of fellowship, education, and celebration.

​

In 1973, the Texas CowBelles held their first convention in Abilene. More than 50 years later, we are honored to bring the convention back to the city where that history began.

​

Friday, October 23
Join us for a social at The Mill at 6 p.m.—a chance to reconnect with friends and welcome fellow CattleWomen to the Big Country.

​

Saturday, October 24
The convention begins at 9 a.m. at the Capital Farm Credit Display Building at the Taylor County Fairgrounds. Our agenda includes Texas CattleWomen business, guest speakers, a keynote address from Emma Coffman of Double E Ranch, a live cooking demonstration, and exciting vendors. Lunch will be provided by The Shed, serving its legendary West Texas barbecue.

When the convention concludes, stay for Cattle Call, our Saturday evening fundraiser featuring a steak dinner, dance, silent auction, and the West Texas Style Show, presented by Bucketheads and sponsored by the Ranches of the Big Country.

Come celebrate the legacy of the CattleWomen and help us build the

next generation of agricultural leaders. Proceeds from Cattle Call benefit local youth agricultural Beef Ambassador's Program & Ag scholarships.
